Antonietta Collins

Antonietta Toni Gonzales-Collins, who is an Mexican American reporter. She is currently a sportscaster for ESPN, working as anchor of SportsCenter news and hosting SportsNation. The first time she worked for ESPN in 2016. She is the child of TV journalist Maria Antonieta Collins. Antonietta Collins is a bilingual since the age of nine years old a useful ability that allowed her to secure her first position as a production associate at Univision in Miami which gave her an opportunity to work with producers of national programming including Nuestra Belleza Latina, Premios Lo Nuestro Premios Juventud and Primer Impacto. The family relocated from Mexico to Miami in 1992, after having left Mexico. She divorced her parents shortly after and in 1995, she married an naval designer by the name of Fabio Fajardo. Fabio Fajardo passed away in 2006 due to kidney cancer. The summer of 2006, she had an entire week with her sister in Canton Ohio. The older Collins girl was working there. Antonietta was a senior high school student, but she had a very clear vision of her career goals. She visited Mount Union University in order to determine if they suited her. The result was that she loved the campus, and it offered the degree she wanted. When she completed her high school studies, she decided to go to the university to study media studies. Professor Mark Bergmann, who managed WRMU Radio and was participant in her class built a relationship that lasted for a lifetime with the student.
